Type 2 diabetes is a chronic condition characterized by the body’s ineffective use of insulin, leading to elevated blood sugar levels. Danger signs include increased thirst, frequent urination, unexplained weight loss, fatigue, and blurred vision. Preventive measures include maintaining a healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, engaging in regular physical activity, and monitoring blood sugar levels. A study by Knowler et al. (2002) demonstrated that lifestyle interventions, such as diet and exercise, significantly reduced the incidence of type 2 diabetes in high-risk individuals. Ingredients: 100% Organic

Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum): has shown promising benefits in the management of type 2 diabetes. A study published in the International Journal of Vitamin and Nutrition Research found that fenugreek seeds significantly improved glycemic control and insulin sensitivity in type 2 diabetic patients. The seeds contain soluble fiber, which helps lower blood sugar by slowing down carbohydrate digestion and absorption. Fenugreek is commonly grown in regions with a Mediterranean climate, including parts of India, Egypt, and the Middle East, where it thrives in well-drained, fertile soils. Its adaptability to various climates has also led to its cultivation in other parts of the world, including North America and Europe.

Gymnema sylvestre, commonly known as Gymnema: is a herb traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine for managing diabetes. A study published in “Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism” in 2001 demonstrated that Gymnema sylvestre supplementation significantly reduced blood glucose levels and improved insulin response in patients with type 2 diabetes (Shanmugasundaram et al., 2001). The herb contains gymnemic acids, which are believed to block sugar absorption in the intestines and enhance insulin production. Gymnema sylvestre is native to the tropical forests of India, Africa, and Australia, thriving in warm climates and often found in the central and southern regions of India. Bitter Melon (Momordica charantia) capsules: have been increasingly recognized for their potential health benefits, particularly in managing diabetes and improving metabolic health. According to a review published in the journal “Chemistry & Biology” (2010), Bitter Melon contains bioactive compounds such as charantin, vicine, and polypeptide-p, which exhibit hypoglycemic properties, making it beneficial for lowering blood sugar levels (Grover & Yadav, 2004). Additionally, a randomized controlled trial conducted by Fuangchan et al. (2011) and published in the “Journal of Ethnopharmacology” demonstrated that Bitter Melon capsules significantly improved glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes. These findings suggest that Bitter Melon capsules could be a valuable natural supplement for managing blood sugar levels and supporting overall metabolic health. Bitter melon is rich in antioxidants and has been traditionally used for its anti-inflammatory properties, which may contribute to overall health and well-being (Grover, J. K., & Yadav, S. P., 2004).

Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus): is a small, dark blue fruit that grows primarily in the temperate and subarctic regions of Europe, including the British Isles, Scandinavia, and parts of Northern Asia. Research has indicated that bilberries may offer benefits for individuals with type 2 diabetes. For instance, a study published in the *Journal of Nutrition* found that bilberry extract improved insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism in obese mice, suggesting potential benefits for managing type 2 diabetes in humans (Stull et al., 2010). Additionally, a review in the *Journal of Medicinal Food* highlighted that the anthocyanins in bilberries can improve capillary integrity and reduce oxidative stress, which are crucial factors in the management of diabetic complications (Basu et al., 2010). These studies underscore the potential of bilberry as a complementary approach to managing type 2 diabetes.

Blueberry: a study published in the *Journal of Nutrition* in 2010 demonstrated that blueberry herbal supplements can significantly improve insulin sensitivity in individuals with type 2 diabetes. The research showed that participants who consumed blueberry bioactives for 12 weeks exhibited a notable reduction in insulin resistance, suggesting that the anthocyanins and polyphenols in blueberries may enhance glucose metabolism. Blueberries, which are native to North America, predominantly grow in regions such as the United States and Canada, thriving in acidic, well-drained soils under full sunlight. These findings highlight the potential of blueberry supplements as a natural adjunctive therapy for managing type 2 diabetes (Stull et al., 2010). Reference: Stull, A. J., Cash, K. C., Johnson, W. D., Champagne, C. M., & Cefalu, W. T. (2010). Bioactives in blueberries improve insulin sensitivity in obese, insulin-resistant men and women. *The Journal of Nutrition*, 140(10), 1764-1768. doi:10.3945/jn.110.125336

Pau d’Arco: derived from the inner bark of the Tabebuia tree native to the Amazon rainforest and other tropical regions of Central and South America, has been traditionally used for its medicinal properties. A study published in the “Journal of Ethnopharmacology” (2011) investigated the antidiabetic effects of Pau d’Arco in diabetic rats and found that its administration significantly reduced blood glucose levels and improved insulin sensitivity. Additionally, a review article in “Phytotherapy Research” (2018) highlighted the presence of bioactive compounds such as lapachol and beta-lapachone in Pau d’Arco, which exhibit potential anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that may benefit individuals with type 2 diabetes by mitigating oxidative stress and improving metabolic function.

Vitamin C: also known as ascorbic acid, has been shown to offer potential benefits for individuals with diabetes. A study published in the journal “Diabetes Care” in 2007 found that higher plasma vitamin C levels were associated with a reduced risk of type 2 diabetes (Sargeant et al., 2000). This essential nutrient acts as an antioxidant, helping to combat oxidative stress, which is often elevated in diabetic patients. Additionally, Vitamin C has been suggested to improve endothelial function and reduce inflammation, both of which are crucial in managing diabetes-related complications. Vitamin C is naturally found in a variety of fruits and vegetables, with particularly high concentrations in citrus fruits (such as oranges and lemons), strawberries, kiwi, bell peppers, and leafy greens like spinach and kale.

“I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes many years ago.  My doctor prescribed the usual medications, but my system would not tolerate them.  I experienced harsh gastric pain, as well as bloating, headache and overall discomfort.  Despite the seriousness of my illness, I refused to take the medication.  The side effects were too severe.  One day a friend told me about Merchants of the World. I visited the store, and to my surprise, discovered a new and improved outlook on my illness, as well as products offering hope.  I spoke to the owner, Mr. El Harriatt, and he presented me with material educating me on my condition.  I decided to try Diabetes Plus, which he stated would control my diabetes along with a sensible diet.  I have been taking Diabetes Plus for quite some time now, and it has no side effects; it keeps my blood sugar level normally regulated, and best of all, the product is made from natural herbs.  I cannot thank El Harriatt and his wife Pamela, for saving my life, and giving me the educated facts that I was lacking.  Diabetes Plus works, and each time I test my blood sugar, I am pleased and wish I had known about Diabetes Plus long ago.  It is a pleasure to take a capsule and don’t realize you took it, because you feel so good without the horrible side effects.” Estella

“I had gone to my doctor for my checkup. He felt that my blood sugar reading was too high.  My wife immediately put me on Diabetes Plus. The doctor is still scratching his head about how my glucose level has dropped.  Thanks Diabetes Plus.  (It’s our secret).” Stewart
